Understanding compliance statuses
What due, overdue, blocked, needs review, and completed mean inside Didiserv.
Applies to: All users working with compliance itemsReviewed 2026-08-15
The status tells you what kind of action is needed
- Due: the obligation is approaching its relevant deadline or action window.
- Overdue: the expected date has passed and the item still needs resolution or evidence.
- Blocked: Didiserv cannot safely move the work forward until a dependency or required input is resolved.
- Needs review: information or prepared work is waiting for a human review step.
- Completed: the Didiserv workflow is closed and the completion evidence should be available where the workflow supports it.
Status is not the same as an external authority status
A Didiserv status describes the state of the Didiserv workflow. Where SARS, CIPC, a payroll authority, or another external system is involved, the authoritative external outcome should be supported by the relevant submission, acknowledgement, assessment, certificate, or other evidence.
Still not resolved?
Bring the affected business, task, payment, or integration context with you so support can diagnose the real issue instead of starting from a generic description.
