Why is my task blocked?
A blocked task usually means a required dependency, fact, document, or earlier piece of work is not ready yet.
Applies to: Users with an active Didiserv taskReviewed 2026-08-15
Common reasons a task is blocked
- A required business fact is unknown or inconsistent.
- Supporting records have not been uploaded.
- Bookkeeping or reconciliations required by the downstream task are not ready.
- Financial statements or payroll outputs are required before the next step can be performed.
- A previous review, approval, or external response is still outstanding.
What to do
- 1
Open the task and identify the missing dependency or request.
- 2
Resolve the missing information or upload the requested evidence.
- 3
Do not substitute unrelated documents simply to clear the request.
- 4
If the blocker is wrong, contact support and include the affected task or obligation.
Still not resolved?
Bring the affected business, task, payment, or integration context with you so support can diagnose the real issue instead of starting from a generic description.
